Our recipe development services

We love working with producers, markets, retailers and publishers to develop recipes that put the spotlight on your products and help to excite people about healthy sustainable eating, local and seasonal produce, specialty ingredients, and diverse food cultures. 

Recipe development and writing is a bit of an art form, that follows very clear guidelines with an equal mix of creativity.

From single product spotlight recipes to blogposts, newsletters and magazines, right through to complete recipe books, we have the team and skills to create recipes that reignite people’s natural connection between food and joy. 

The Green Gourmet’s recipes have been published in the tourism cookbook, Faces and Food of the Fleurieu, Good Health magazine, The Australian Women’s Weekly and Family Circle.

Each season, The Green Gourmet writes a profile piece on a Fleurieu Peninsula-based producer and creates a recipe for them, which are both published in Fleurieu Living Magazine.

Nourishingly delicious recipes are created each month by The Green Gourmet for
OMGhee’s blog pages.

Andrea was a two-time winner of the ABC television program Beat the Chef, beating both Peter Milosevic and Simon Bryant with her original recipes!

The Paul Newman Foundation awarded Andrea a ‘Culinary Oscar’ for her original recipe,
Sante Fe Dreaming, which won her a trip to New York to have lunch with Paul Newman (yes, his blue eyes were dazzling!). The most important part of the prize was a $100,000 donation made on Andrea’s behalf to rebuild the Brookman Ward at the Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital for children living with cancer and other serious health conditions.
